Thomas says: "So, a cooking technique that everyone should have in their skillset should be braising, which means to gently cook meat slowly. Once you understand the method, then you can make so many dishes. From a beef stew to a chicken curry. The technique is the same, only the ingredients and cooking times vary.
"And for quick snack or meal, that I eat all time and is pretty healthy, it has to be an omelette. Quick and simple and you can put almost anything that you have in the fridge or store cupboard in it."
