Come and explore Somerset with your best friend...

We're offering dog lovers and their well-behaved pet pooches a place to stay.

Owners and their four-legged friends can now enjoy a holiday together here whether they want to go on rousing daily rambles, bound around on the beach or simply partake of leisurely lounging.

We have pet-friendly rooms and are offering people the chance to treat their terrier to a relaxing mid-week break or bring their boxer for an exercise-filled long weekend.

In the winter months (October 1 until April 30), dogs are allowed to use the numerous sandy beaches in Somerset. For example, the one at the traditional, seaside town of Minehead, which is a 50-minute drive from us.

Other wonderful walks in the area include the South West Coast Path, The Coleridge Way from Nether Stowey to Lynmouth and the Macmillan Way across the Quantocks and linking to the coastal path.

But if you'd prefer something more relaxing, and your pet isn't one for long walks, then some of the picturesque villages on the Somerset Levels are much closer to the hotel or there are many shorter strolls to be had within the surrounding Quantocks.

Then at the end of the day you can enjoy a dinner made from regionally-sourced, seasonal ingredients in our restaurant and curl up for a quiet evening reading or watching the television in the warmth of your luxury, cosy room.

There aren't many hotels like ours that combine both top-notch accommodation and wonderful seasonal food while also welcoming dogs too.

If you'd like to bring your dog for a break with us, please do get in touch to discuss your requirements. We do require pre-booking for any stays.
